I thought I had my nose wheel shimmy problem solved but it came back
today. Was flying some Young Eagles for the EAA local EAA chapter and
got a shimmey on first landing which alarmed the young passenger a bit.
On next 5 landings, I trimmed full nose down immediately after
touchdown (as I have discussed before) and was able to hold the nose
off longer on the landing roll out, or at least have less pressure on
the nosewheel on rollout than just neutral yoke pressure, and voila!
No shimmy.
