Bert, My first question is: Why are you having a battery problem?
Even with my piddly 20 amp generator, my Coupe got charged well enough. My batteries lasted enough years that I'd forget when I bought them. I pretty much never had any low battery when I went out to start the plane. Heck, even the first start in spring when I'd not flown at all during the winter, the battery was still up. This was in Iowa and Illinois. What is draining your battery?
