Now that's unusually many failures.

I had one failure when my Coupe was new-to-me when it was about 30 years
old. Now, the Coupes are (mostly) 60+ years old.

Did you replace the generator/regulator on EACH failure?

I was advised that the generator and regulator should always be taken to the
shop together so they can be adjusted as a matched set.

At that time, an old pilot advised me to take my generator and regulator to
a local generator shop and tell them that it was from a tractor (because
they'd refuse to work on airplane parts) and they'd fix them just fine.
Those certainly worked for the ensuing 23 years and may still be working
fine.

Also be aware that some other wiring issue may be causing your failures.

Tell us more and you can (maybe) get a more useful answer.

If it were me, I'd be thinking about the alternator conversion instead of
keeping 60 year old generator/regulator parts. But I'm not any kind of
mechanic.

Keep us posted.
