I am converting from Eisemann to Slick magnetos and there is some confusion about the proper magneto drive gear. Apparently, the present one on my airplane does not fit the Slick. I believe the correct gear is the 36067 for my engine. My AI believes it should be 36066 but my understanding is that gear fits A 65 A75 and C75-8 engines and the 36067 is for the C75-12 and C85-12.
Does anyone have a definitive answer? There is a $370 difference in cost between the two gear types. Thanks David
