This last March on my first landing in my newly purchasd coupe I had a strong
left pull that  rather than try to overcome I elected to let it roll off the
runway (flat well sodded shoulders).  After slowing I taxied up on the runway
and back to the hangar the next day I preflighted the airplane and found that
none of the spring clips were present and the left brake disc was wedged in a
manner that gave a constant braking action on the left main. I was able to find
some clips and had the left main brake reworked, however the left pull tendency
continued.  To alleviate the probem I had Clevlands put on but the problem has
continued.  The latest theory is that the brake does not fully release after
application so that you consistently have a left pull and the way to remedy the
problem is to add to the pre takeoff checklist to pull the brake up with your
toe, I intended to try that this weekend but not everything cooperated so will
try it another
day, if this seems to fix the problem then you should be able to find a better
solution.  That said an unexpected left tendency makes landing a bit more dicey
than I care for on a routine basis.  I do have the new master cylinder to go
with the new brakes.
