I had pulse light in my previous plane, anything for safety flying in the NYC
area was worth doing.
Presently, in my Coupe, I've installed Garmin 430 transponder with traffic
info displayed on a Garmin 496. I also always use Flight Following with traffic
advisories when possible. Truthfully this all is not a replacement for "see
and be seen" but it surely is making me feel a bit safer in a sky filled with
everything inluding blimps and banner towing planes over the stadiums.
