I need an opinion from those familiar with the regs. If a 415D has the original style exhaust system, with the muffler against the firewall and one exhaust stack exiting the bottom of the cowling, can you LEGALLY remove that system and install the duel exhaust system found on the Alons, the one that has two "straight pipes" coming down each side of the engine with two exhaust pipes exiting the lower cowling, one on each side?
