The annual on my (415G) cost me well over $3,000. Squawks not included.
The rates are higher in the NY area at the large airport I'm hungered at.
For the last 25 years they have worked on many of my previous aircraft.
All the work on my coupe was done to perfection,
probably because knowing my standards are of the picky perfectionist type.
Having never worked on a coupe before I was actually paying for their
learning curve.
When they were completed, I was nicely told,
"I'm sorry Ed, but we would appreciate it if you
did not bring your coupe back for another annual.
Find a shop that works on coupes."
He was obviously was embarrassed of how much he had to charge me.
