Linda/John, I just completed 14 months of work on a 415-C. Lot's of work (the plane had sat for 10+ years), upgrades, STC's, etc. I can tell you 10 months of that was the A & P's lack of know 'coupe knowledge and fear of "jumping into it". Not only the time, but I'm very sure I paid for his learning curve. Needless to say, the one I'm restoring now has a different mechanic, one that I'm 'training' to be with me for years to come.
