Speaking of Kinetic energy and momentum, I doubt that the small increase in
weight to 1400 or 1450 lbs would significantly change the amount of damage done
should a LSA crash. Also, I am guessing but most small aircraft accidents
involve the pilot, passenger and plane. Depending upon the time in flight, the
fuel will cause a large amount of damage.
Just my humble opinion.
