In my Aircoupe (ALON) the "Hand brake" is not a brake at all but merely a latch to hold the foot brake in place. A poor mans parking brake. The only "Hand brake" I ever saw on an Ercoupe was a conversion done to 99893, My first Ercoupe, which had to be installed for a pilot with no legs, and it was a Piper Cherokee unit modified to fit.

It is just a cable so you are twisting the cable when you spin it. Kevin1 --- In [email protected], [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > I was given several answers (3) already.
