Now that my rebuilt cylinder will be installed on my C-85 tomorrow, I
have purchased baffle seal material to make sure I get better air flow
across the jugs. This material is about 3" wide. I will pop rivet the
material to the baffles, but I'm debating the best method for attaching
it. Should it be installed flat so it bends up against the inside of
the cowl? Could it be doubled over the installed on the baffle to make
it shorter the stiffer? Or is flat (but bent in the way it should lay
against the cowl) better?

Another question, how close together should the rivets be? I don't want
to get carried away drilling holes in the baffles, but it needs to
hold. I'm thinking that if the baffle seals are INSIDE the top air
chamber air pressure should hold them flat against the baffle and cowl,
is that right?

Any help is appreciated!
