[ercoupe-tech] Nose job (part III continued)

Still looking to the combined wisdom.
Should all parts (strut, collar & sleeve) need replacing, it is over
$1200.  I guess one can machine down the strut, then just get the
other two for "only" $700.  I know "That's not much in airplane
dollars," but am looking for alternative ideas. Thanks in advance.
