Some 15 years and 500+ hours ago we changed to 0200 continental on my
Coupe and just this summer experienced
failure with the fuel transfer pump. The sight of the panel warning light
and the header float coming down 1/2 hour or so from home can be unnerving
. This has not ever occurred before and only twice this summer. Both times
weather was
hot and humid and flight time one hour or so. There are those that suggest
vapor lock and those that suggest ethanol.
We use only auto fuel in the summer. Any suggestions or experience with the
electric pump would really be appreciated
