Our Coupe has an 85HP engine with a 4 qt oil capacity. How much oil do you normally keep in it before adding ? In some of the aircraft I fly if we fill them to capacity usually at least 1 qt is "thrown" out. I looked in all the old Ercoupe manuals and they only list the 4 qt capacity nothing on minimum safe flight.
