Gary,
While I've had good luck I think Hartmut is correct to suggest pulling the jug 
for repair, or possible replacement.    My plane has 1600+ hours on 1994 
Superior Cylinders, & all have compression between 75 & 79.  However one 
cylinder was replaced at about 850 hours.

  With 700 hours after top overhaul, I'd suggest pulling the cylinder.

  I just looked at some 4 year run 300 hours cylinders and was surprised how 
badly the valves can be beaten up.
  A stuck valve scores the stem and that might be the cause for total failure. 
  A lot of the specialists claim the small continental cylinders only to be 500 
hours worth. Thinking it that way you've got already over 100% of the expected 
life.
