My Ercoupe leaks fuel into the cowling and on the nose gear when the
fuel selector is left in the on position while the plane is parked.
It lost about two gallons in three days. I know that this is a common
problem with Ercoupes. Where is the most likely place the fuel is
leaking from and what is the fix?
Thanks

Glen,
My similar problem was from a piece of grit (sand, dirt, whatever)
keeping the gascolator valve open after sumping (I hadn't noticed it was
dripping - thought it was just fuel I got on my fingers).
I cleared it by simply sumping several times until no more grit was
present, thus allowing the valve assembly to seat completely.

John
