All,

My coupe has no suction pump. But, it does have a whopping big venturi.
The venturi runs both my attitude indicator and my gyro compass.

QUESTION: Is a suction gauge necessary or desirable? (Both opinions and
purported "facts" are welcome.)

I do have a suction gauge, but I am considering removing it. I wonder if it
might be usessly adding load against the the work of the venturi.

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] O-200 Engine For Sale

All,

A buddy of mine has an O-200 engine for sale. Here's what I have been told
about it: low time, good condition, new (or almost new) Slick mags, has an
alternator and key type starter, engine is complete except for oil tank and
carb. No logs. He says the engine looks very good. Priced at $2500 for a
quick sale. Located in South Carolina. If interested, call Jerry at
864-915-6763 between 9AM and 9 PM eastern time. I haven't seen the engine,
so if you are interested, call Jerry and get all of the particulars from
him.

Best Regards,
