And, for masochists, the entire 452 page rule-as-the-FAA-released-it is available at: http://sportpilot.org/learn/final_rule.pdf This explains the FAA's rationale concerning why they accepted and rejected each idea and comment. There have been some changes since the rule was originally released and I don't know if the 19 page version has those changes incorporated. Ed
