Not sure about that carb, but after two rebuilds and multiple issues I replaced my Stromberg with a Marvel MA-3SPA carb. It is approved for the C85. Really nice upgrade and have had little to no trouble and some nice benefits (don't have to clear the carb on landing, smooth/responsive power, etc) . They are hard to find and mine was about $1600 without a core about two years ago. Don't know a lot about it but can get more info if you are interested from my engine guy.

Floatless and new it looks great but has only been approved for experimental aircraft (costs about $1050 and might need a new airbox too, about $350). Has anyone seen a throttle body installation on a C-75 or C-85? I was hoping there might be an STC out there but I am not aware of any. Emailed Ellinsen to ask if anything would be pursued in that regard. I'll let you know what they say. Best regards, Rich Green N3881H, 1947 415-CD
