P.S. I personally like the original Ercoupe pretzel yoke. Since it's round on top, unlike the stupid ram's horn yokes, you can rest your hand on the top center.
In turbulence, when higher or lower g-loads hit in turbulence, your hand doesn't turn the yoke due to the weight and inertia of your arm. The downside in a modernized plane is that the top of the yoke (and my hand) obstructs the view of the low center of the panel right in front of the pilot. This obstructs the view of the standard instrument flying layout. Ain't nothing perfect. Ed
