Well, now, just from a logical (as opposed to THEO logical) point of view,
if 'twas the hand of God that saved them from the briny deep, then was it
not also the hand of God that put them in the water in the first place?

Or from an engineering point of view, if was the airbus floating fuselage
that preserved them, was it not also the airbus computers that shut down the
engines to drop them in the river?

Almost any airliner that I have ever seen land in water breaks up on impact.
I also believe the hand of God was with them not only for the landing but
also the fast rescue. Ron
