And I forgot. My experience is that a leaking wing tank needs to be rebuild by someone who knows what he is doing.
There might be some lucky exceptions, but a rebuild is needed when corrosion is the cause for the leak. Rebuild includes drilling out all rivets, cleaning and repairing parts and riveting it together again. That will get you another 50 years of service if done right.
