Dan,If one experiences stumbling and hesitation in the cold, it is most likely
due to a lean mixture. In the winter the air is cold and therefore more dense.
The air to fuel ration remains the same so you are getting more air than in the
summer when it is hot and the air is thinner. Suggest you keep the primer out
and if there is hesitation, slowly push the primer in. Otherwise you can pull
the carb heat and see if that helps.LeeI am having more "stumbling" and
hesitation to take throttle advancement in cold weather. I'm suspecting it is
set a little rich. I'm assuming I want to adjust the setting screw "in"; but
would like suggestions on how much I change it each try.I'm thinking 1/4 or 1/2
turn clockwise unless you guys/galstell me different. I'm going to know the
result while taxing.
