Hi all,

At the Lockhaven convention 1991, I took several people for rides,
among them Bob Sanders. He had not flown in a Coupe in quite some time
but soon became relaxed and took over the controls for a few minutes..

People on the ground were complimenting me on the nice landings. They
said that all three wheels hit at the same time. I thought that was
strange. I really didn't do anything different from my usual landings.
I wrote about it in my convention coverage for Coupe Capers . Later,
I noticed that my snubber cable had come loose. The nose gear had
fully extended without my knowledge and looked to them like a 3 point
landing because of the extension. I hope no one really thought I was
advocating it. I land like everyone else, mains first. Just something to
think about if you don't use the snubber cable.
