teach them how to land in a crab so that they would not hit the pods
of the prototype 707 and 717 (KC-135) on the ground in crosswinds. -

tng.. The engine mounts are on the wings in a position that prevents
wing low slips to a landing. I may be wrong noting the DC-8, but I

The DC-8 was built by McDonnell Douglas.
