FYI...  I detected a leak and removed my center fuel tank. I removed the carb 
heat, mixture and throttle cables as well as my radios. REMOVAL OF THE CONTROL 
COLUMN WAS NOT REQUIRED. I find I have a completely soldered tank (I was told 
it is a 8 gal tank) that is not magnetic. I am going to try and have the tank 
repaired locally (soldered).  The tank was a snug fit and any bigger tank would 
require some (lots) modification to the structure, thus the decision to 
repair.   415C, ser. no. 613 (although many mods and new parts since new)
