Try:
   http://navmonster.com/map/Cgf-1j0-bxk-22

The 22 is the width of the zone, You get a path from Cleveland(CGF) to
Florida(1io) and then to West of Phoenix(BXK)

Then, try something like:
   http://airnav.com/cgi-bin/fuelroute/1/CGF-gas-gkt-1j0-1r7-f78-row-bxk
or any likely variation.

Also try http://skyvector.com/#46-29-3-4010-638 and the see the note
"right-click to build flight plan".

These three sites will let you plan a great flight. Then, Google earth will let
you define a path and "fly", seeing the highways, mountains, etc.

I've thought this would be a great topic to present a session at Middletown, OH
National Ercoupe Fly-in this June.
Does it seem like a good topic? I could do it with my laptop.

  Subject: [ercoupe-tech] flight planning

  Folks,
I'm looking for a flight planning site that offers an interface which is
similar to a rubber band on a map, if you know what I mean. Select a starting
point then an ending point on a map and bingo there's your route. Then "grab"
it and put in as many waypoints as you want. It seems I've seen this before
but can't remember where. Any suggestions?
  Thanks,
  Darick
