What a shame. Randy was kind enough to give me one of the cylinder and piston sets that he had replaced with new ones. I had never met him - he just responded to my posting a note with this group that I had a broken rocker arm boss on one of my cylinders which caused me to make a precautionary landing at Bloomington/Normal on my way from Arkansas to Chenoa, IL. As a thank you, I embroidered some caps for him and some of his friends who had helped him bring his 'Coupe back to flying status. Spoke with him several times on the phone and he was certainly a nice guy.
