SUN-N-FUN ITINERARY 2009
(REVISED 4/13/09)
PLAN O
1. We will communicate with each other on 122.75. If that freq. is
crowded we’ll go to 122.85.
2. Everyone will be given a pocket notebook to copy down all pilots’
cell phone numbers before takeoff. If you have a radio problem and
also for some reason can’t land at the chosen destination, land
somewhere else and call us. (Cell phone use while in the air is
illegal).
3. If we are on a different frequency in order to talk to ATC and
want the others to get back to 122.75 so we can talk to each other,
rock your wings vigerously.
4. Slower airplanes will depart each airport first, followed by
medium speed planes followed by faster airplanes.
5. We won’t try to fly formations, but if airplanes with similar
speeds wish to fly together, they may. They should stay in sight of
each other.
6. Faster airplanes will pass slower airplanes enroute, either above
or on the right.
7. As soon as each plane gets to each stop it should refuel as soon
as possible (IF NECESSARY) to make room for those following.
8. Everyone will wait at that stop until the slower planes take off
again.
9. If one pilot needs to land for any reason we all will land at that
airport so we all stay together.
Any suggestions to this plan or to the route are welcome.
