I agree that this is probably not topic matter for our tech group, but I must respond to the accusation that somehow all America is populated by "racist and nationalistic" people. Personally, what's sadder to me than the original post is your anti-American rant that paints us all as fascists of one sort or another. Maybe that type of thinking is acceptable at UC Davis (or any place else in California for that matter) and treated as "the fact of the matter," but the truth is often a moving target dependent on one's personal point of reference, philosophy, and belief system. And if you are an educator, I am deeply concerned for your students. Besides, who died and left you dictator for life of the Ercoupe tech board?
