Hi folks, I used to be unhappy in Wisconsin, but now on a calm night my N94027 flew like a homesick angel, and was pure flying joy. I had a tad of a crosswind, but mostly very calm air. However, after having both mags looked at, and new points put in, I now have developed a constant static.......not on the ground but at 100ft and above. The squelch has been turned to every setting, no good. The only thing that stops the noise is to push the PTT, but I dont hear my own voice very well, like before. I have the Dave Clark headset, not sure about my intercom, and ICOM A-6 radio. There is a headset adaptor between the intercom, and where the dual plug headsets plug in. I think I am finally finished for now fixing stuff, but the loud static-squelch is deafening. Any ideas that might help? Thanks for reading this note. Gary
