Should be plenty of those in junkyards. See if someone at the type club has the info. ----- Original Message ----- From: fnelson913 To: ercoupe-tech@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Sunday, April 26, 2009 2:40 PM Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Properly inflated tires and Goodyear brakes I learned yesterday that the performance of my Goodyear brakes is worse than I have previously thought. I was able to hold Coupe only up to 1500 to do the mag check in the past. However with properly inflated tires, that is no longer the case. I can hardly hold it at 1000 rpm. Having suffered through the economic drain (and emotional flogging) of my annual inspection and yet continuing radio problems, I don't like to think about a reasonably expensive (and maybe necessary) conversion to Cleveland brakes. I know this is an often repeated topic here, but does anyone have any inexpensive solutions to the Goodyear brake problem? Thanks. Frank Nelson N51DV - 415C TOA
