I converted my spring tension trim to the trim tab using the Univair kit. I had to install the complete assembly that you describe. I would not have been able to without the assistance of my 5'5" 125 lb son (also a fixed and rotary wing pilot). The cable is a wraped steel shroud, with a single wire running through the center.Looks like an old (long) lawnmower throttle cable. Does that sound right. I thought there were several pieces of tubing and possibly a multi strand cable. Also how do you undo the clamps inside. I am 260 # and 6'2" . Do I prop up the tail and lay something down inside , or inlist the services of a skinny little " crack head " . Nick 94175
