Here's a diagram of the mount details for the pitot/static tube that one of
the members scanned from the parts manual.

Note that it's the thick tube under the wing with the pitot opening at the
end of the tube and the static openings around the sides of the tube.

If you have the entire parts manual page, you'll probably also have the
lines that tell just what each numbered part is.

Don't count on the mounting issue solving the high airspeed indication.
We've long noted that as they age, many airspeed instruments show higher and
higher airspeeds.  Often a replacement of the ASI with an overhauled
instrument or a new instrument is needed.

Once you've fixed the mount issue, you can test the ASI by doing a flight
check and following these guidelines and procedures:
