I guess everyone is at the EOC. Wish I was.
Started the Coupe today and had no oil pressure (sat for 3 months). guess i'll
do the old oil filter prime trick I have read about. Any better methods?
Trying to figure out what to use to cover up the dash(I removed all but the
essentials)and now need a way to cover the holes in a nice fashion.
Here is my questions of the day.
1. My header tank seems to have a crack in the edge
/ seam under the bracing strap. Can you use a tank epoxy to repair it or ??????
.I would rather not take it out.
2.One of my wing tanks has what looks to be a
sealing agent inside. It has curled up.Can I drain the tank and remove it with
a shop vac.....it looks loose.
I did use a heat gun ,from a distance to help peel the military stars
off the wings.Worked ,but left a lot of the glue on the wing. What is safe to
use to get that off.
