All, I'm sitting here at the computer snacking on a free Jacks Links Matador sausage, compliments of the EOC, and I'm mulling over in my mind what we can do in 2010. For some insane reason I volunteered to organize this thing, and so I'm starting already to review the three conventions I've attended so far and I'm thinking about what we can do to make things even better.
In that regard, I'm asking all of you veterans out there to send me an email (privately, please do NOT reply to the list) and recount the things that you really LIKED and the things you really DID NOT LIKE from all of your past conventions. I have a raft of ideas and possibilities, but I want to first see what everyone thinks before starting to consider any of them. Again, please do NOT reply to the list, reply to me personally. I have absolutely loved the three I've been to, and I want to preserve the atmosphere that they have. I'm a believer in continuous improvement, and so anything we can do to make it an even better experience is one of my top priorities. As an aside, Illinois is a lousy shape for plaques! Thanks!
