Hey Jim: Kevin was correct, but left out the important step of putting the  
bolt back in the control mast assembly (under the baggage compartment), 
which I  believe is a AN 4-15. This is the key to the rudders moving in 
conjunction with  the ailerons. As long as no changes were made to the controls 
after the rudder  pedals were installed, you should not have to make any 
changes after removing  them.
    The extra part required would be the AN 4 bolt  (nut, washer, etc) that 
connects the two bell cranks on the control mast.
