Hi, everyone

My name is Dave English, and I'm trying to buy a 415-C/D, N3446H. I have a
handshake deal with the new owner, a guy I've known for the last 10 years who
also has an Alon A-2. We hope to do the deal in January when I will have the
cash and after he gets a fresh annual. He wants to keep it and take it to the
Ercoupe Nationals in October.. He bought it from a gentleman in Eastland, TX
who was having health issues that prevented him from even flying LSA. He knows
I have always liked these airplanes and thought it would be a great airplane
for me to teach my daughter to fly. I have a prospective partner to share
operating expenses who is a GA pilot. We hope this deal works out , because
from all I've learned from talking to the previous owner and his mechanic, it's
a well-maintaied low time aircraft. Highlights are rudder controls, bubble
canopy, Cleveland brakes, and metallized wings. The current owner is adding a
new nose cowl(bowl. The panel is very basic, but I plan to put in either a DG
or a vertical compass and a nice Garmin 396 or 496 to have a sweet VFR X-C
machine. Also needs a Mode C since I'm close to the Class B in DFW. We plan
on keeping it at KWEA, about five minutes from my house and about 10 minutes
from his house. I audited the logs and documentation today, so I know most of
the history of this airplane, but if anyone has seen it or flown it, pleae let
me know of your experience with this polished-metal beauty.

Thanks,
Dave
