I've long had discomfort when my knees have to stay bent for long periods without lots of moving around. Yep, rudder pedals did make my knees ache on long flights. I spent a fair amount of time with my legs out straight, braced against the firewall above the pedals. If I get a chance to buy another Coupe, I'll put preference into no pedals for the comfort factor. It certainly doesn't make any difference to the crosswind takeoff and landing ability. Ed
