Seems like an easy answer to me. just follow the scat hose and see
where it goes. If it ends at
the firewall, it is cabin heat.

I had received different answers regarding (Scat) HOSES
so I questioned my Maintenance people.
The answer I got for my engine (Ercoupe "G" C-85) was:
On the Left side of the engine scat hose went to the cabin heat.
On the right side of the engine another one went to the carb heat.
We also tightened a very loose fuel line clamp on the left side of
engine.
An annual was recently completed too!
Now then,
I don't know which is correct.
I received eight E-mail ercoupe tech answers with a split (left /
right) decision
