I purchased the Bose at Oshkosh, flew home, boxed them up and sent them back. They didn't handle the air noise as well as my lightspeed QXxx did at about a third the cost. I still plan on trying a friend of mine’s lightspeed Zulu. I am loosing my hearing and would like to cut down on the noise to try to keep things to a lower roar. I might try the kind where you have the custom fitted ear seals. I had a pair of foam ear sets, and they bothered me too much and were too hard to get a good seal.
