Me too. Problem is - My wife wanted to try it and now I am back to using the
heavier David Clark that I converted to noise canceling.
Another piece of advice we just found. Our headsets were starting to breakup
when the plugs were inserted in the panel connectors. After pulling them in and
out we found a good contact spot that worked. But this is not the fix we
wanted. Went to a local avionics shop and they asked if I owned a gun.Thought
they were going to tell me to shoot the plane. Told me to get the small wire
cleaning rod that is inserted in small barrels to clean them out and insert
this small rod in the headset plug holes. This is the first thing they usually
do for this problem. They had one which I used and after 2 or 3 pushes, the
plugs were perfectly cleaned and the communication problem resolved. Seems over
the years some corrosion decided to find its home in our headset plugs.
Went to WalMart, bought a small wired tip barrell cleaner for under $ 2.00 and
another item is now in my flight bag.

I may be the only person on this forum that still prefers the head
clamping/pinching
of the over-the-head headsets. I don't like things stuck in my ears
like these
new fangled jobbies do. I wear glasses and the only problem I have
with regular
headsets is that my left ear, not the right ear, but my left ear gets
a bit sore
on flights of 1 hour or more. Other than that, I love 'em.

Yep. Well, at least one side open at a time -- I'm just not a
motorcycle gal! ;-)
An under-chin strap or ribbon holds the hat on just fine =)
