I got several nice e-mails from Wayne Woollard who told me about his Alon A-2 that may be for sale soon. It sounds like a great airplane. He suggested that I ask some of you your opinion on his airplane. I realize there are a world of differences between his Alon and the 415CD we're looking at, but we would like a back-up in case our deal in Texas does not work out. And no, I'm really not concerned about whether we buy an LSA aircraft or not, other than for resale. I just want a good Ercoupe, Forney, or Alon that is structurally sound, corrosion free, and doesn't have a lot of maintenance issues that need to be addressed immediately.
Please feel free to comment on Wayne's airplane. Private e-mails can be sent to [email protected] Thanks, Dave
