A lot of good info on the LSA qualification of Coupes. One other possible twist is in the FAA records when you go back in time for some CD Coupes (by getting the FAA a/s history info) you see annual registrations as a D now and again in the records for CD models because no one cared about the designations in the late 40's and early 50's but no 337 showing an upgrade to a D model. Born a CD and still registered as a CD and confirming calls with the FAA and FSDO indicating its a CD, but the occaisional document that says D in registration history. Just another potential paperwork complication.
