I purchased a CD converted to a D in 63 when I went to FSDO to get a new A/W as 
the one that showed a D needed replacement because of age and condition a new 
one was issued and showed a CD not a D dated 63 also
The FAA said it was a CD not a D the FAA Disc shows a conversion to a D 337 who 
knows???????????
