Ah, that's good. You should see little difference in trim from idle to full power. There will be some, but much less than on aircraft that don't have the split elevator. However, you should be seeing indicated airspeeds down in the 50-55 range, perhaps even a smidgeon lower, when you get the stall break. With power off, it should be more of a mush than a break but a mild break can occur. It should never be accompanied with loss of control. You might run the airspeed test listed on that web page I linked to at cruise speed, an intermediate speed and in level flight near your minimum flying speed. I think the results would be valuable to know. Ed
