I had a heck of a time, myself, finding that valve on the starboard side.
Two mechanics concluded that it just was not there. But, pulling out the
upholstery, I finally found it, sitting there wired open pretty as ou
please. I now keep it uncovered.

Folks: you should all locate and uncover this valve as necessary. The only
reason it exists is to shut of the flow of fuel in the case of an engine
compartment fire or a rupture of one of the lines to and from the engine
driven pump. During an emergency is not the time to be looking for it or to
be unaware of its existence.

The valve should be safetied in the "on" position using brass or copper
(breakable) wire.
