Check the papers real good on this for a possible tail cone replacement and 
 data plate not changed.
I have also seen in the past a data plate used to repair a "totaled"  
airplane from "parts" of another
with no paperwork at all.  Just because it fly's doesn't mean it has  
always been in the hands of honest
people,  especially with the currant desire to have a "C" model.
