I looked into having it done and talked to the fellow who does it in N. California. He has done a number of them, and said he found only 2 spars that were corroded and those were obvious just looking at them. In other words, he never found corrosion or flaws using ultrasonic which could not have been found by other means. I decided the $700+ for it could be better spent in other areas of safety.
